Climate Justice
Rwizi-network strengthens capacity of member CSOs, individuals, EHRDs, and communities to integrate climate change issues in their programming and to regard climate change as an ethical and political issue rather than one that is purely environmental or physical in nature. This program struggles to secure justice for those people vulnerable to the impact of environmental degradation and climate change who are usually forgotten including the poor, un-empowered and marginalized across western region and Uganda. This thematic area is executed through advocacy, awareness campaigns, networking, collaborations, partnerships, and stakeholder engagements. We also facilitate action to empower the vulnerable and marginalized people and local governments in their efforts to achieve sustainable development and centered at citizen inclusion and participation.
